Is it just me, or has it become an insanely virused-up site of late?

I just watched DA viruses nail a public library computer, and the staff did nothing but stare. I mean literally nothing, not even an emergency shut-down. After I warned them about the virus while they were watching.

*shakes head*

I doubt that much can be done, but the local library is insisting that I didn't return a book that I'm about 98% sure that I did return back in January. I've checked everywhere in the house where the book could possibly be (I'm very careful where I set books from the library) and it's in none of those places. Here I am in the public library, and they're setting up for a rock concert. In the library. Right under the big "QUIET PLEASE" sign.

Am I the only one who is left wondering 'why'?
